To those that are not using an XHTML(T) browser, the site might look odd. There might not be any colors, and some of the rows within the site maybe on top of each other rather than side by side. This is not bad programming, but someone using an obsolete browser. I do have an legacy edition of my web site, but this is HTML 3/4 with tables to control the layout. While XHTML(T) may seem to be some alien concept of HTML, it is actually simpler for many browsers to use. However, the most important reason is it is the defined standard by W3C(T) whom recommends the standards. |
